After completing a large-scale extension, the homeowners asked us to design a low-maintenance outdoor entertaining space that could be enjoyed with their extensive network of family and friends. We developed a bespoke initial design, presented it for feedback and material selection, and then refined the final plan before beginning construction.

The first phase of the build features a spacious natural stone patio sourced from London Stone, complemented by a brick-built raised planting bed filled with ornamental grasses, topiary, and a mix of perennials. To enhance privacy and create a clean backdrop, we also installed a large slatted cedar screen behind the planting bed.

This area represents the opening stage of a phased transformation that will ultimately reshape the entire garden. Future additions will include oak-framed structures and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, so watch this space...
